MBN Foundation, a charitable organization based in the United States of America sets forth an English Spelling Bee Competition in association Woodbridge Public Library for the students in various schools under Woodbridge Township School District. Students from Middle School are eligible to participate in  the contest which will be held during Summer.

About The Event
The contestants are asked to spell a broad selection of words that are not very commonly used. The participants gain a deep knowledge of the English language by learning new words with the correct spellings. The importance of learning spellings lies in the fact that it aids in reading and writing. The children are given an opportunity to develop interest in the written and the spoken words. It is a comprehensive process that allows students to learn the meaning, pronunciation and the origin of the word.
